Our Foundation

We are the Edison Outdoor Foundation, a group of local parents and community members who have formed a non-profit fundraising organization to raise money for the construction of an athletic track to be built at Edison Elementary School.

MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Edison Outdoor Foundation organized as a 501(c)-3 nonprofit, is to support the continued operation, growth and improvement of the outdoor learning, recreation and stewardship for the students, families and surrounding community of Edison Elementary School.

VISION:
The vision of the Edison Outdoor Foundation is to create an outdoor learning environment at Edison Elementary School that promotes good health and outdoor physical activity 

The Edison Outdoor Foundation received official 501 (c) 3 status to operate as a non-profit organization.  This gives us the ability to accept corporate funds, apply for national grants and provide tax-free status for private people or local businesses wishing to donate.  Our tax ID is 82-1613886.
